Ruth was born in California and has lived in Michigan since 1989. Before moving to Michigan she lived in several places including Texas, Maryland and Virginia.
She graduated in 1978 and was employed at an Aerospace Engineering Company where she was a Senior Administrator. In 1987, she graduated from Kee Business College receiving a Medical Assistant degree and was employed at Portsmouth General Hospital and Obstetrics and Associates.
Ruth has two major joys in her life; her two married children, whom she raised as a single parent and her three grandchildren.
She also loves gardening, relaxing by the lake, refurbishing vintage furniture and most of all, photography. Ruth has won numerous awards through the Roscommon Conservation District and has had her photographs published
Her most rewarding passion is her love of the Bible. Ruth enjoys volunteering her time by teaching Bible truths to those she meets in the community.
Ruth has been the Patient Coordinator at St. Helen Family Dentistry since 2000. Ruth takes much pride in her work helping patients achieve the best possible experience at our practice.
Jen was born in Ann Arbor, MI, but spent most of her life in Grand Rapids. In 1991, she graduated from Eastern Michigan University with a degree in Political Science.
Jen and Dr. Tozer met when he was in dental school and were married in 1991. They moved to St. Helen in 1999. Their daughter, Katie was born 1997 and graduated from Roscommon High School with top honors in 2015. Jen is not only proud of Katie´s academic achievements, but her prowess on the Volleyball court as well.
In her free time, Jen is active in her church and enjoys playing volleyball, reading, traveling, watching "her" Detroit Tigers.
Jen has always had an active role in the practice and she became a full-time staff member of our dental team in 2014.
Jennifer grew up in Prudenville and graduated from Houghton Lake High School in 2000. She earned her Dental Hygiene degree in 2007 from Delta College.
Jen enjoys spending time with her family including her husband, Chad, four step-children and her dog, Darby. They are avid outdoorsmen and often take pleasure in ORVing, hunting, fishing, shooting, mushrooming, traveling and boating together. Chad and Jen share a home in the woods and take pride in their skills in the kitchen preparing many fine meals with the rewards mother nature has provided.
She belongs to several organizations including Moose International, and the NRA. Jen was the 2015 Tip-Up TownŽ Queen and enjoys volunteering for the Polar Bear Dip event.
Jen has been a Registered Dental Hygienist at St. Helen Family Dentistry since 2007 and is certified in Pain Management.
Donna graduated from Freeland High School in 1979. She moved to the Houghton Lake area after she married her husband Steve in 1981. Their four beautiful daughters and five grandchildren are their pride and joy.
Donna attended Washtenaw Community College and received her Dental Assisting degree in 2003.
She enjoys bike riding, walking and reading. Donna volunteers as a Christian Minister sharing the truths of the Bible with others and views this as the greatest treasure of her life.
She also enjoyed the privilege of attending an International Convention in Kiev, Ukraine along with over 74,000 fellow delegates from 16 different countries.
Donna began working for St. Helen Family Dentistry in 2000 and is currently a Registered Dental Assistant.
